Nema and the United Nations University to co-host E-Waste Academy Managers Edition (EWAM) 22-26 February 2016 Nairobi-Kenya


The National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) in partnership with the United Nations University (UNU) – Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability have launched an E-Waste Academy Managers Edition (EWAM). This is a global forum for stakeholders involved in the practical design and implementation of e-waste management solutions.

The third round of the E-Waste Academy – Managers Edition (EWAM) will take in Nairobi, Kenya between 22-26 February 2016. EWAM focuses on policy development and e-waste system design, and targets policymakers, government officials (PMs) and representatives of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), such as recyclers, refurbishers and collectors. It will provide a neutral platform for discussion and exchange of best practices and expert feedback.
