Change of Guard

Following the arraignment in court of the current Director General, the Board of Management in a special meeting held on 23^rd July 2019 resolved that Mr. Mamo B Mamo be appointed in an acting capacity as the Director General, NEMA and Mr. Zephania O. Ouma as the Acting Director, Compliance and Enforcement. Other changes will follow in due course.

The Authority holds dearly the tenets of good corporate governance and commits itself to effective service delivery to the Kenyan public.

We believe the changes effected by the board will ensure services delivery continue uninterrupted. We implore the public to cooperate with us to ensure we live in a clean, secure and healthy environment for all as enshrined in our constitution (Article 42)
